Reportage about Szczecin (Poland)

In the fall of 2009, I spent a month in Szczecin, Poland, with other scholarship holders. The stay was sponsored by JOE Plattform Berlin e.V. and Klub Storrada, Szczecin. The goal of the stay was to observe the city from the outside and write a report on Szczecin's bid for the title of European Capital of Culture. For my outside perspective, I explored the city on the German-Polish border and spoke with various people to find out what motivates Szczecin's residents, what makes them special, and what contribution they can make to Europe's cultural diversity.
